142 lbs in both pictures, 2 very different bodies 😱 1 year progress report . My highest weight was 142 lbs on the left picture a little over a year ago. Don't get me wrong, I loved the way I looked, but I wanted to play scientist 👩🏽‍🔬 on my body and see if i could shed off fat, shrink my waist, build muscle, and hit 142 lbs again with a different physique. This morning I did it 🎉 . I haven't openly spoken about this goal, but it's something I've been working on for the past year. I wish I could say it was easy, but it has been a roller coaster ride 🎢 with lots of hiccups in my year, but the journey has been fun and that's the point! It's incredible what you can do and how you can shape the human body and I personally find it fun to change up my looks from time to time 🤗 I did my own diet, workout programs, and supplementation over the year. . Just trying to make those leg gainzzz baby 🍑😤 Forever working on my lower body as it's always been hardest for me to grow! I'm an ectomorph body type so keeping lean for me is easy, but gaining and maintaining muscle is hard! 💪🏼Here's what I'm doing: ▪️Training lower body 4 times per week ▪️Split as 1x strength (squat), 2x glutes/hamstrings, 1x quads ▪️I lift heavy. Body weight exercises alone will not build up your glutes! Challenge yourself girls! ▪️My favourite lower body exercises are squats, deadlifts, hip thrusts. I mix them up with different variations, rep ranges, tempo etc. ▪️Carb timing around my workouts. Pre and post workout! ▪️I don't do much cardio. I lose lower body muscle so fast 😅 - P.s. This is just what I am currently doing. Our bodies are all different so what works for me, may not work for you! Xxx
